Presenting the 10 Amazing Lottery Winners’ Photos!
We Thought They Were Cool in Many Levels, So We Brought Out the Artist From Within to Gaze Closer!
Okay, well, there are some photos that are downright weird and some are uber cool, but hey, at the end of the day, what matters is that you’re taking home the fortune, right?
#1 Lottery Winner Jack Whittaker Jr.
Now I saw this image and was like, “yes, it’s true – height matters!”
On 25th December 2002, Jack won the lottery, but he gave away $50 million to almost who asked for it. He spent $3 million in lawsuits and $2,000 was stolen from his car. His granddaughter, who used his money on drugs, was then found dead. Here’s what he said, “You know, my wife had said she wished that she had torn the ticket up. Well, I wish that we had torn the ticket up too…”
#2 Lottery Winners Les Scadding and Samantha Peachey
They look so much in love isn’t it?
Well, they’re not anymore. When they won the lottery, they were cuddling, kissing and basking in their newfound fame and richness. Samantha kept spending money on jewelry and plush hotels while her husband remained home alone. She was spending the money to look younger! She lost weight, changed her hairstyle and transformed herself to the point that it led to their divorce.
#3 Lottery Winner Nigel Page
Aww, adorable couple, right?
In 2010 he won the jackpot for a whopping $56 million! After the win, he married his girlfriend and moved into a mansion in the Cotswolds. His ex-wife, whom he had separated 10 years before the win, received £2 million after she sued him for £8 million!
#4 Lottery Winners Gillian and Adrian Bayford
Winners of the second biggest jackpot, these guys separated due to the stress of banking a whopping £148 million. When they won the lottery, they purchased a £6 million Georgian mansion together. Gillian decided to purchase a fleet of cars and ended up falling for her guy who sold her the cars! From “I Can’t Stop Loving You,” to “I’m Stressed and I Know It!”
#5 Lottery Winner Amanda Clayton
What a beautiful woman, wouldn’t you say? Chic hairstyle too!
She, unfortunately, isn’t alive, but had to serve five years in prison for winning the lottery and still depending on welfare coupons. Later on she died from a drug overdose. #RIP.
#6 Lottery Winner Dave Dawes
Such a happy go lucky dude… set for life, don’t you think?
They might look so adorable, so much in love, right? They married a few months after they hit the jackpot. It has been reported that this couple divorced just days after lottery winners Adrian and Gillian Bayford announced their divorce. What happened, you ask? They couldn’t agree as to which of their family and friends would get a piece of their newfound richness. LOL
#7 Lottery Winner Callie Rogers
Such a bright little bud, yes?
The moment she grabbed her big fat check, she purchased four large houses, a truckload of new cars and even got two breast augmentations. She bought expensive gifts for a series of boyfriends. To one boyfriend, she gave a car and even paid him to drive her around because she was 16 – too young to drive. Soon she was seen selling her houses and cars to save whatever she could. She rented a modest townhouse and picked up work as a maid.
#8 Lottery Winner Michael Carroll
What a handsome young man, right?
This dude was known as the ‘lotto lout’ because he went on a crazy binge of purchasing houses and cars and then proudly hosted demolition derbies (smashing brand new cars with other cars) that featured the cars he bought in his backyard. Apart from that he had other very dangerous addictions that landed him in jail and he ended up bankrupt. He also became fat.
#9 Lottery Winner Late Stuart Donnelly
A rising young star, you think?
He died when he was 29. In 1997, Stuart won £2 million and because he was too young to toast with champagne, he cracked open Coca Cola to celebrate his big fortune. In 2003 Stuart had become a reclusive millionaire and he said that he had a tough time dealing with being rich and dealing with all the unwanted attention. Then on the 6th of January 2010, the 29 year old Stuart was found dead in his villa – the post-mortem report showed no signs of suspicion. #RIP.
#10 Lottery Winner Ianthe Fullagar
Bright bud, sane mind and wishful thinking…
In 2008, Ianthe, an 18-year old, hit the EuroMillions jackpot. She took advice from her parents, her financial advisors and relatives instead of wasting her money on luxury things. As of 2012, Ianthe stood as the 38th richest youngster in the UK.
