Let’s Break Up or Divorce after Winning the Lottery
At one point in time I went through a similar stage in life. I started earning a lot more money that I could ever imagine. On few occasions I was even on a winning spree. My bank account was fuller than ever. I made a grave mistake by breaking up with my beloved significant other.
With Money Comes Power – Winning the Lottery Can Corrupt
The first thing that comes with a lot of money is power. The more money you have, the more powerful you become. In this moments of unparalleled power people get corrupted. Their opinions change, their behavior changes and this is the time when devastating mistakes can be made. Fame, glory, parties and during all of these you forget about your special one. You think you can go do whatever you like, have whatever you like and still have her/him by your side without ever thinking that what you’re doing is not OK at all. Winning the lottery can certainly change your life. One of the things it can also do is blinding you with money and blur your decision making.
When I was in this stage all I wanted to do is party. My loved one was trying to tell me that this is not ok. We should start spending more time together again. That’s it was enough of parties. But, wait. I’m the all powerful one here. I got the money in the house so I should make the rules. It turns out what I said was very painful. When the lights go on and the music goes down you will miss your loved one. No money can replace that person.
Winning the Lottery Is a Long Awaited Opportunity
When I say life changing amount of money I really mean it. Winning few millions of dollars allows you to fulfill some of your wildest dreams. Everything and everyone has a price tag. At least that’s what they say. I can tell you that only two things don’t have a price tag and the latter is debatable. One, you can’t buy love and you can’t buy health. With a proper health system in line the latter can be bought, in a way. However, love and the moments spent with your loved one just can’t be replaced with a million dollars. Some jackpot winners decided to complete their wish list and go back to their former partners, secretly. Eventually the truth was brought to light. It can’t be a mystery since you have the media in your back. A dedicated reporter is behind your back all the time.
Other jackpot winners want to do some crazy stuff, usually life threatening which the partner doesn’t find logical. You must know that when you’re doing this sort of stuff somebody is worrying for you. And this can’t last forever.
Money Can Bring the Best in You, But Also the Worst
I mentioned earlier how money can change one person. Maybe they wanted to do something the entire time, but they simply didn’t have the means to do it. Once the jackpot lands on their bank account things can go rapidly from what seemed right to completely wrong. It’s human nature to be greedy. I’m not saying that winning the lottery is a bad thing. By all means it can make your life easier. What I want to say is not everything that’s good is completely well. I’m going to give you a radical example. For instance, a family that used to live with a minimum wage all of a sudden has millions. This inexperience in the world of wealthy people can not only lead to break ups and divorces, but other issues as well. I’d recommend staying conservative and doing what you do best. Try to share the wealth with your partner. Enjoy together. If you split, eventually you’d want your ex-partner back, trust me!
Love Can Be Permanent, Money is Replaceable and Temporary
It all comes down to this. Money comes and goes whereas love can come and stay and never leave if you don’t mess things up. There’ve been a lot of cases where jackpot winners just leave their partners and try to live on the wild side. I was surprised at first when I took a look at the statistics. Numbers don’t lie, right? However, most of these jackpot winners who want to get a taste of the life or rich and famous alone always go back to their former partners. Why complicate things? Why not enjoy in what you just won with your partner? You shared everything you had by now. Even if you decide to split and take separate paths your partner deserves its rightful share of the winnings. You had the support to continue playing the lottery. Winning the lottery is the best thing that one lottery player can experience. Try not to waste it on lawyers. Life is beautiful, especially with million in your bank account.
