How to Recognize a Lottery Fraud
The lottery fraud is a very common issue today. This is where most people get an email notification saying that a large amount of money has been won for no rhyme or reason. The message received by the person is also asked to keep this email a secret. He or she is also asked to contact a certain agent whose information is furnished in the email itself. These are the early symptoms of a fraud lottery.
This naĂ¯ve person then calls up the contact agent and is asked to pay a certain amount of money, which is called the ‘transfer fees’. The reason given is that this fee is the necessary distribution fee, which is mandatory for receiving the lottery jackpot. This type of lottery fraud generally happens online and it uses genuine lottery organization names to make the email more believable. But do not be fooled by the names because the people behind it are far from genuine.
Usually the pattern for the lottery fraud is the same. You have to understand that unless someone actually buys a lottery ticket, it is not possible to win any cash prize. Emails of lottery claims do not win you anything. If you ever receive emails like that, you must recognize it as part of a big lottery fraud. As soon as you see that there is a fee being asked for in order to receive the prize, you should identify it as being illegal. No real lottery company will ask for this fee. Never send this fee through online bank payments or other such services. A real lottery tickets have taxes that are deducted while you purchase the ticket.
Next time you are using your email, make sure you look for these signs and recognize the lottery fraud.
