How a Bingo Winning Streak Inspired a Millionaire

Sheila Davidson, a mum from Aberdeen is one lucky lottery player. After spending the night, winning a bingo game at a friend’s house, she went ahead to win the UK National jackpot. Although she didn’t win any money at the bingo games, she believes that the winning streak she had at the Bingo games inspired her to play the UK lottery the following day.

The next morning, Sheila headed straight to the local UK Lottery vendor and played the Lucky Dip. After playing the lottery, she had a feeling inside her that something great is about to happen. After a night out enjoying a local band, she headed home but the excitement inside her made it impossible for her to sleep. She decided to check the UK lottery tickets online.

Upon checking, the winning numbers were the same as those appearing on her ticket.  Just to make sure that she was indeed the jackpot winner, she rebooted her computer and checked the number yet again. The numbers hadn’t changed and it finally hit her that she was indeed £4,520,120 richer!

Sheila went straight ahead and informed her husband and later her daughter of her new found fortune. The frenzy created by the news, made it impossible for anyone to sleep.

The winning streak has not always existed in Sheila’s life. Two years back, she was diagnosed with a rare form of mouth cancer. She believes that the money won is a way to give back to everyone who supported the family through the trying moments.

Sheila has no immediate plans on how to spend the lottery money but buying a new car was top of her wish list.
