Karunya Lottery Review
Kerala State Lottery in India was established way back – in 1967. Ever since it has run popular games, and one of the names in its portfolio is Karunya Lottery.
Karunya is a weekly game and drawings take place every Saturday. A minimum guaranteed jackpot is available for each of the drawings, which makes Karunya Lottery quite beloved.
Karunya is one of seven weekly games organized by Kerala State Lottery. The other ones include Akshaya, Pournami, Win Win, Stheree Sakthi, Nirmal and Karunya Plus. We will take a look at some of these games in a couple of additional LotteryPros reviews.
Going back to Karunya, what makes the game special? Is it worth giving a try? Our Kerala Karunya Lottery review will attempt to answer all of these questions.
How to Play Kerala Karunya Lottery
Karunya is probably the biggest game in the portfolio of Kerala State Lottery.
To participate, a player should be prepared to spend 50 rupees (0.70 US dollars) on the acquisition of a ticket.
Players do not choose their numbers when attempting to play the lottery. Instead, they acquire a play slip that already has a specific digit printed on it. To determine whether they’ve won anything, players have to check out what number has been drawn for each of the prize tiers and if it matches their own.
In this sense, Kerala Karunya Lottery is a bit more reminiscent of a raffle than of a lottery game. Still, the affordable ticket price and the multiple prize tiers keep the interest in the game high.
For each weekly edition of the game, 30 million tickets will be printed out and offered for distribution. The tickets are printed out in five series and players can choose the digits they like the most. Very often, Karunya players look at the available ticket numbers to identify a series or a combination of digits that are considered to be personally lucky.
Drawings take place each Saturday at 3 p.m. The selection of the winning digits occurs at Thiruvananthapuram, the capital of the state of Kerala.
Tickets can be acquired from authorized vendors and retailers who have the right to purchase batch tickets from Kerala State Lottery. Such opportunities throughout the state.
If you’re looking for an online ticket buying option, you’ll probably be disappointed. At the time being, Kerala State Lottery does not have an official online platform for ticket acquisition. You will need to get a printout ticket for a chance to participate in the weekly drawing.

An amount equivalent to 10 percent will be deducted from the first and third prizes to produce a commission for the agent that sold the lucky tickets. Agents will also receive financial stimuli for the other winning tickets that they have sold.
