The Lady Luck’s Twisted Walk of Fame – Blessings of New Found Richness to Lottery Winners Who Were Ex-Prisoners!
Alright, I get it. Well, actually I don’t. I don’t understand how this is even possible! Why is it even possible?! How can one person, who brings tears to another person, be blessed with taking home a huge bounty? A staggering amount of money that they will probably squander on drugs and whores?! If a sane person were to get that money, they would, well no reason to debate. These guys won the lottery and I just don’t know why. The Lady Luck, they say, is one you should please if you ever want to win the lottery, if this is the case, then what did these prisoners do to become lottery winners?! Let’s take a look at some of them:
Lottery Winner #1 – Timothy Dale Poole
Early December 2014, this dude won the lottery and took a lump sum of a whopping $2,219,807! Listed on a Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Poole is a sexual predator who was arrested in 1999 for sexually battering a 9-year old boy. This man has served a total of 13 months in jail, however, he claims that he was wrongly accused. Maybe that’s why the Lady Luck stepped up to change his life.
Lottery Winner #2 – Jesus Davila Jr.
After serving 12 years in prison after being convicted for a drug, this man goes down to win a staggering amount of $265 million!! That’s a hell lot of money for someone who’s just fresh out of jail! The 70-year old opted for a lump sum and after taxes, he got to take home a decent bounty of a whopping $178 million. He plans to share the fortune with his family, donate some cash and finally buy a lawn mower. Well, what explanation can you think of?!
Lottery Winner #3 – Iorworth Hoare
Iorworth, a prisoner serving life sentence for attempted rape won a whopping £7 million in a national lottery! Approximately 63 years now, this man was arrested and jailed in 1989. I really don’t want to go into detail the pathetic things this man has done, but all I can say is that as soon as he won the lottery, he was moved to a closed cell for security and his own safety. Well, I’m speechless.
Lottery Winner #4 – Michael Carroll
This man won £9 million on the 2nd November 2002 and soon after serving jail terms for crimes including fight and failing to comply with a drug testing order. But this man is so weird that instead of regretting his jail time, he was quoted saying, “Prison wasn’t so bad. You get looked after in there if you’ve got money.” Yeah, definitely, after all he was a millionaire prisoner…
Lottery Winner #5 – Alec Ahsoak
In 1993, this man was convicted for molesting two 13 year old girls and upon being declared guilty, he served four years in prison. Then in 2000 he was arrested again for molesting another young girl, one he was babysitting and served six years. But even this guy, with such deeds won half a million from the state’s lottery program. I’m still speechless. Are all the good people not worth winning the jackpot?!
What the Heck Is Happening?
Like seriously, what the heck is happening? Do these guys use lottery software? No. Do they use statistics? No. Do they do voodoo? No. So what do they do? Crime. Can you handle that? I definitely can’t!
