The World of Lottery Isn’t Only a Dream for Getting Multiple Boob Transplants
It’s Also a Dream for Encouraging the Fight Against Cancer
Now there are still some good people in the world who continue to contribute to the world by donating for a good cause – a fight against cancer. There are some nay people in the world who suffer from cancer, there are lots of women who suffer from breast cancer and to help these people, lottery players play more and more games to support their cause.
Canadian Cancer Society
For more than 50 years, lottery players in Canada have been inspired by the Canadian Cancer Society’s charitable lotteries as a way to make a difference in the fight against cancer. The Canadian Cancer Society continues to remind its avid lottery citizens that their contributions from the lottery proceeds have made an impact in the fight against cancer
Rowena Pinto, Vice-President, Public Affairs and Strategic Initiatives, at the Society’s Ontario Division was quoted saying,
“Every year thousands of Canadians will hear the words ‘You have cancer’. They won’t face their cancer journey alone, due in large part to the research and programs funded through the Society’s lotteries. Quite simply, the key to our lotteries is that they create funds we otherwise would not have had. Our research tells us that lottery participants on average would not have otherwise donated to the Society. However, by participating in a lottery, they are taking a chance to win fabulous prizes while supporting the growing needs of Canadians with cancer.”
Illinois Lottery – Ticket for the Cure
The First Lady Patti Blagojevich is known to continuously promote breast cancer awareness and so on the 9th of January she unveiled a new Illinois lottery game called ‘Ticket for the Cure’ – the first lottery ticket dedicated to help fund for breast cancer, it’s early detention, education, research and patient services throughout the state. Then in July Governor Rod R. Blagojevich signed the legislation for the ‘Ticket for the Cure’ that was then initiated by Senate President Jones and Senator Mattie Hunter.
First Lady Patti Blagojevich was quoted saying,
“As a mother, I know that most women spend their time looking after everyone else. We have to realize that one of the best things we can do for our families is to keep ourselves healthy. Breast cancer is a devastating disease that can affect any woman, at any time. One of the many things you can do to fight it is protecting yourself, and your loved ones by having regular screenings as it could mean the difference between life and death. The funds generated from the Ticket for the Cure will help fight breast cancer through early detection, education, and research – our best hope for finding a cure.”
Then Illinois Lottery Superintendent Carolyn Adams said,
“We are incredibly pleased to launch this new ticket and play a part in the solution to a major crisis affecting so many throughout the state. We anticipate great success with this ticket and are hopeful that it will attract new players who will quickly discover how fun it is to play the Lottery. This type of player base expansion will help as we continue to make record contributions to the State Common School Fund.”
The Lottery Way towards the Fights against Cancer
These are just two major examples of how countries are willing to support their citizens suffering from the dreaded disease of cancer. Apart from that there are the Spanish Lottery, the lottery winners themselves, Florida Lottery, and many, many more. I do apologize for not being able to list all of them and I’m hoping that if one of you who are donating towards this cause, which you will forgive me. The reason I apologize if because it’s such a wonderful cause and people who donate towards it need a standing ovation. The world has become so mean, people ditch other people in need… the envy that money causes can sometimes be inevitable, but those who donate – they are true heroes. True heroes that are mentioning forever!
